PACK Solutions Challenge
The PACK Solutions Challenge is an annual student contest where teams from PMMI Partner Schools research and develop a real-world packaging solution.
The 2016 challenge will be released as soon as April of 2016. Student teams from PMMI Partner Schools exhibiting at PACK EXPO will begin their research with resources on packexpo.com and follow up with exhibitors on the show floor.
Students will present their proposals to a panel of end users on Tuesday, November 8, and the winners will be announced that afternoon.
The PMMI Foundation will provide scholarships to the winning teams. First place team members will share $4,000; second place, $2,000; third place, $1,000.
As part of the Challenge, students will prepare poster presentations of their solutions that will be displayed beginning Sunday, November 6, in the Education & Workforce Development Pavilion.
Attendees and exhibitors are encouraged to pick up a Passport for the Education & Workforce Developent Pavilion. As part of the Passport game, you can visit exhibiting schools and vote for your favorite PACK Solutions Challenge poster to be entered into a drawing to win the latest iPad!
