FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SFA Endorses Baking–Snack Break Lounge at PACK EXPO

Show floor lounge offers place for baking and snack brands to connect and ask the experts

Reston, Va.; August 17, 2012 — PMMI, the owner and producer of the PACK EXPO trade shows, is pleased to announce the Snack Food Association (SFA) has endorsed The Baking-Snack Break lounge at PACK EXPO International 2012 (McCormick Place, Chicago; Oct. 28–31).

SFA is reprising its role after the success of endorsing The Baking-Snack Break lounge at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2011.

“SFA members and staff, as leaders in the snack food industry, will be at The Baking–Snack Break lounge to help attendees find the right technologies to address specific situations and challenges. Our members also find it invaluable to have a place where they can connect with their peers and suppliers without leaving the show floor,” says Chris Clark, Vice President, Operations, Member Services & Education, SFA.

In addition to SFA’s endorsement, The Baking-Snack Break lounge is sponsored by Kliklok-Woodman (Booth 1601; Decatur, Ga.). The lounge will be located on the Grand Concourse, next to PACK EXPO Innovation Stage, and is a central component of PACK EXPO International’s customer-centric approach.

“PACK EXPO International will cover 1.1 million net square feet, with 1,800 exhibiting companies and some 46,000 attendees. Using the customer-centric approach, we combine the breadth of PACK EXPO with the depth of a market-specific show. Attendees, like those in the baking-snack sector, will easily identify the suppliers who fit their needs while experiencing the power of PACK EXPO,” says Charles D. Yuska, president & CEO, PMMI.
