Shipments Study

The principal objectives of this study are to collect meaningful statistics on U.S. packaging machinery industry shipments and to provide relevant market analyses for the industry as a whole, as well as for individually defined machinery categories. The project was originally conceived with the underlying purpose of creating a reliable statistical base upon which subsequent industry performance can be annually measured. The 25 principal packaging machinery categories were selected to represent the preponderance of the industry’s total shipment volume. The study also provides analysis of shipments by nine end-use market segments.
