PMMI ELECTS THREE NEW BOARD MEMBERS FOR 2006

Arlington, VA - December 12, 2005 – The Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI) announces the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors.

During its Annual Meeting held in November, the PMMI membership in attendance voted the following individuals into the association’s Board of Directors for four-year terms, to begin in 2006:

• Tim Cook is the vice president of sales and marketing for AMF Automation Technologies, a PMMI member since 2002. Tim serves on the PMMI’s Show Committee. AMF is based out of Richmond, VA.
  
  
• Nick Wilson is the president of Morrison Container Handling Solutions of Glenwood, IL. Nick founded the company in 1971 and joined PMMI in 1995.
  
  
• Paul Irvine is CEO of PLEXPACK Corp. in Toronto, ON. Paul has served on PMMI’s Global Marketing Committee for the past four years and recently on PMMI’s Competitiveness Task Force. PLEXPACK has been a PMMI member since 1997.

"The role of PMMI’s Board of Directors is to provide strategic direction for the association and our members,” states Charles D. Yuska, president of PMMI. “These three newest members of the Board have already shown leadership in their involvement with PMMI, and on behalf of the organization and the current Board of Directors, we look forward to their future service in the association as well.”

The new Board members begin their four-year terms on January 1, 2006.

On November 7th, the PMMI Board of Directors voted to re-elect the following individuals to serve on the Institute’s Executive Committee for a second term:
