Intelligent robotic palletizing logistics work cell for creating mixed, display, rainbow and re-palletized pallets

Palligistics™ this “intelligent robotic palletizing logistics” work cell concept has been developed for creating mixed, display, rainbow and re-palletized pallets from pre-formed homogenous pallets of products or from product carried directly to it by conveying systems. Utilizing a newly developed, patent-pending AIDCO Model GripStar CFVC 200 multi-functional EOAT mounted on a AIDCO Model RoboticStar KR 240 PA robot palletizer and a AIDCO Model FlowStar linear slide, the system can traverse between homogeneous or mixed pallets to create mixed and layered pallets of product. This “intelligent palletizing solution” solves the customer’s problem of needing to re- palletize products from one size pallet to another size for their end-customer’s needs, in addition to allowing “pick to order” palletizing directly at the packaging plant or distribution warehouse.

Low cost, standardized robotic work-cell

Standardized cell components provide a flexible robotic work-cell solution at an entry-level cost for today's complete automation solution. Basic configuration includes: KR 180 PA robot, EOAT, safety fence, conveyor and pallet bin magazine for a simple system which can be upgraded at any time to meet your changing product and line speed needs and operations and equipment environment.

Pick-and-place robot provides precise product handling

The small, lightweight robot can be mounted traditionally, from the side and above a production line. As shown it is used in a part number application to demonstrate its flexibility and ease-of- use in a production environment. In addition, with a customized EOAT, the offers the flexibillity and low-cost needed for smaller operation case pick-and-place and case packing and palletizing applications.

Palletizing fexibility for bottles, cans, cases and trays

Flexible, lower-cost, four-axis palletizing robotic solution with a 12 foot reach and 396 pound payload can service multiple conveyors and pallets on the production line for depalletizing or palletizing a wide range of products.

Robotic Case Packing, material and logistics handling, and palletizing systems handle uniform or random sized products in simple or complex production environments. AIDCO's expertise in developing the right EOAT on the right sized robot with a unique layout to fit our customer's space and needs allows the development of a custom turn-key robotic solution. As shown, this rugged six-axis robot with a payload capacity of up to 528 pounds and speeds of 80 to 100 cases or trays per minute provides intelligent palletizing solutions and cost-effective production in a small space.
