Topic: How to Effectively Work with Integrators on Your Equipment Training

Guest Speakers: Paul Zepf, Director of Engineering, Zarpac, Inc.

Webinar Overview:

As companies continue to downsize capital projects are being managed more and more by line integrators. This often creates confusion about responsibilities, especially when it comes to training. “Is it their job to train on your equipment, or do you train them? are they responsible if training is done inadequately?” Are just a few questions and concerns being expressed by OEMs. This session will separate some of the myths from the facts and help you to understand the role that integrators can take and how they actually can be your best ally when it comes to effective training.

Session Objective:

  • Explain what an integrator does and does not do when it comes to capital projects and capital project training.

  • Explain the different roles an integrator plays on capital projects whether it is a turn-key operation, sole source or other.

  • Focus on what role and responsibility an integrator can assume when it comes to equipment training and how that impacts you, the OEM service tech/trainer.

  • Thinking about our partnership agreement we’ll discuss how it can apply here too by identifying expectations integrators have of you as well as what you can expect from them.

  • Discuss how an integrator can enhance your training efforts as well as support the 4-step training process.
