An Opportunity to Recognize Great Trainers in Packaging

Training Magazine is seeking nominations for young noteworthy trainers for its 2008 YOUNG TRAINER AWARDS. Nominations are due DECEMBER 1, 2007.

Submissions will be reviewed by Training's Editorial Advisory Board. The list of all winners will be published in the magazine, along with profiles of the Top 10. Profiles of the remaining winners will appear on http://trg.vnh10.net/r/?ZXU=520127&ZXD=165120471. The Top 5 will be invited to serve on Training's 2009 Editorial Advisory Board.

These awards are designed to highlight emerging young leaders in the training industry and give them the well-deserved opportunity to be recognized. Winners will be feted at a congratulatory event held during Training's Leadership Summit in San Diego, CA, in May.

Nomination Criteria:

• 40 years or younger by December 2007
• In the training industry for at least 3 years
• Has at least 1 direct report
• Demonstrates leadership qualities (i.e., motivates/inspires direct reports and co-workers; acts as a mentor/coach, either formally or informally; thinks strategically)
• Develops/leads innovative training initiatives
• Successfully met a significant training challenge in the last year
• Demonstrates career progression by taking on new responsibilities each year
