Recertification:  Keep the public recognition of your ability

Have you started your recertification process?

In order for a training certification program to have meaning in the market place, trainers need to be current on the latest training concepts, conduct organized and consistent training sessions and have up-to-date training materials.

In today’s competitive business environment, customers purchasing packaging machinery expect superior quality when it comes to training. It is for this reason that the PMMI Certified Training Program is committed to keep all trainers who have obtained the PMMI CERTIFIED designation, abreast with new techniques and innovations.

PMMI has developed a series of webinars to help you meet your recertification requirements. These free webinars are the fastest way to help you meet your continuing education requirements for recertification. To learn more about what a webinar is, please visit our FAQ section.

The following is the recertification criteria that you as a trainer must follow in order to keep your PMMI CERTIFIED status:

  1. You are required to submit two “Customer Feedback Forms” from any of the companies for whom training was provided (one per year). For a copy of the Customer Feedback Form, click here to download or here to fill out online. (requires Adobe PDF)

  2. You need to provide PMMI with proof of attendance from one continuing education course per year. This course must be approved by PMMI. You may also choose to attend one of PMMI’s free webinars.

  3. The cost is $80 every 2 years. Each trainer will be notified 90 days before his/her second anniversary as to when the recertification fee is due.

If you have any questions about where in the recertification process you are, please contact Danny Martinez, PMMI’s education and workforce development coordinator at 703-243-8555, or if you prefer, you can email him: training@pmmi.org.
