C.O.P.A.M.A. is a means to communicate with the makers and designers of packaging machinery and a route for members of the Confederation to express their views on a range of issues and concerns to other trade organizations, governments and policy makers. ABOUT C.O.P.A.M.A. Member countries take it in turn to run the Secretariat of C.O.P.A.M.A. for three years. During this time the National organization responsible holds the presidency of the Confederation. So far, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Spain and Australia have held office. Presently, The Netherlands is taking this responsibility. Meetings are usually once a year and delegations meet at convenient exhibitions. A European group, Europama, meets twice each year to discuss developments inside the European Union. Topics Discussed:
