EXHIBITORS: More than 950 companies will exhibit, covering over 17,500 net square meters of exhibit space. 

EXPOSITION: EXPO PACK México offers exclusive access to the packaging industry in Mexico and Central America. EXPO PACK México is recognized internationally as the most comprehensive packaging machinery and materials tradeshow in Mexico. At EXPO PACK México 2009, over 950 exhibitors will showcase packaging and processing machinery, materials, components and containers, providing proven solutions for processing, packaging, storing and distributing products.

AUDIENCE: Over 32,000 qualified attendees and exhibitor personnel were in attendance at the 2008 four-day show.  International attendance came from 39 countries, including: Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, United States and Venezuela.

EXPO PACK México 2009 attendees represent a wide range of industries: food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, graphic arts, medical, chemical, automotive, tools, electric and electronics, among others. Their main interests are packaging machinery, packaging materials, containers, and other related goods and services.          

CO-LOCATION:  PROCESA, the food and beverage processing machinery and equipment show for Mexican end-users will be co-located with EXPO PACK México 2009.  PROCESA exhibitors display state-of-the-art equipment in the fruit and vegetable, beverage, dairy, meat/poultry/seafood, frozen and preserved foods industries.

• 931 exhibitors from 25 countries
• 32,603 packaging professionals in attendance
• 13 international pavilions
• 105 PMMI Member Companies exhibited
•  5% increase in attendees over the 2007 event

MARKET INFORMATION:           

• In 2008, packaging machinery exports from the United States to Mexico increased 23% to $121 million.
• Local packaging machinery manufacturers satisfy only 15% of the market demand.
• Trade with the U.S. represents close to 2/3 of total Mexican foreign trade.
