Nancy Cobb
Nancy Cobb is currently President and owner of Partners in Possibilities, Inc., which serves as an organizational development consulting firm to various companies across a wide range of industries.
With over 20 years in the manufacturing industry, Cobb has gained comprehensive experience integrating the cultural and technical changes created by capital projects; recruiting and retention; training and development; communications; and employee assistance. She also has expertise in maintenance training, having designed and implemented apprentice, pay-for-skill-and-knowledge programs, and skill upgrade programs.
Prior to starting her company, Cobb served as training manager at Nabisco for 20 years. During this time, she was responsible for managing the organizational development function, including the design and implementation of corporate and plant-wide change management initiatives, quality and continuous improvement, reengineering, employee empowerment, management/leadership development, and generational diversity programs.
In 2002, Cobb published, “The Project Management Workbook: Field-Proven Strategies for Managing Your Greatest Asset,” a widely distributed book that shows project managers how to combine process, technology and human components to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Cobb received her bachelor’s degree in Education from Western Illinois University and a master’s in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University.
