Kollmorgen is a US based world class supplier of Motion Control Solutions. Our solutions include machine/motion controllers, drives, motors, gearboxes and electric actuators.
We will be featuring two products:
Kollmorgen's family of Hygienic Servo Motion Control equipment. It is designed to:
Our designs are IP69K and can be sprayed with high pressure chemical wash without restrictions. We use 316L stainless steel and Thermoplastic Elastomer for the cable jacket that can withstand harsh chemical foams and cleaning solutions. We utilizes a unique vented cable design that allows the heating and cooling cycle of the machinery to occur with causing wear on the seals or creating a vacuum that encourages ingress of moisture into the equipment.
Kollmorgen AKM2G Standard servo
Linmot provides linear motor solutions that provide high speed for increased productivity, long life for reduced down time, and are highly integrated with Rockwell Automation’s Compact and Control Logix PLC’s for quick and easy set up.
The OpX Leadership Network ensures CPG manufacturers and OEMs/suppliers are well-connected and well-prepared to solve common operational challenges, make smarter decisions and achieve operational excellence.
PMMI U offers The PMMI Mechatronics program helps move manufacturing forward by providing employers, schools and potential workers the tools needed to advance the workforce and close the ever expanding skills gap. PMMI U also offers Online Technical Training which is PMMI's eLearning courses not only teach workers - such as operators, technicians, and maintenance employees - the fundamental skills required in the packaging and processing industry but also provide a foundation on which to build knowledge and skills.
ROSS Controls will be introducing three new pneumatic safety valves for applications up to category 4 performance level e. All utilize external monitoring system to verify proper valve function all allow for a smaller valve size.
The first is a safety exhaust/dump valve for use in the packaging and processing industries. Utilizing a well tried pneumatic circuit crossflow circuit design with external monitoring allows a compact modular design that can provide a compact complete air entry air preparation and safety package. It includes an option of adding an adjustable soft start feature when needed to allow a slow buildup of pressure downstream. It uses two M12 connectors to control the solenoids and provide monitoring feedback.
The second is a safe cylinder return valve. This dual 5/2 valve will send a cylinder to a safe position when de-energized. There are two spool position sensors to provide feedback to ensure the valve is functioning properly.
Finally ROSS is introducing a dual 4/3 closed center valve to stop a cylinder in place. The only valve of its type on the planet. Redundant poppet internals provide a full face seal that is mechanically biased to trap pressure on both ends of a cylinder to prevent motion. It utilizes two position sensors to verify both sets of internals are shift correctly.
