Pittsburg State University is the home of the Gorillas! Midwest values in hospitality are found on this campus of more than 7,400 students where the student to faculty ration is 19-to-1. Students can select from over 100 academic programs within the colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Education and Technology.

Pittsburg State University offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Technology degree with a Major in Graphic Communications and an Emphasis in Packaging Graphics. The Packaging Graphics emphasis courses combine graphic and structural design, digital file preparation, print production, distribution and testing as they relate to a variety of packaging applications. Students also choose electives from within the graphics department as well as support courses from other areas throughout the university. These courses will help provide a broader understanding of the packaging industry as it relates to other areas.
