The School of Graphic Communications Management (GCM) at Toronto Metropolitan University is Canada's only degree-granting program for the printing and packaging industries. Their 4-year degree offers opportunities in all areas of packaging, digital imaging, and print production leading to a management career in the printing and packaging industries.

The School of Graphic Communications Management (GCM) has research interested in the areas of packaging and graphic design, printing and labeling technology, packaging distribution and logistics, packaging sustainability, packaging materials and packaging processing.

The school currently offers an Option Concentration in Packaging to students majored in GCM (Bachelor of Technology), and has well equipped laboratory facilities for packaging reserch, testing, and education: instrumentation lab, press lab, Mac labs, etc.
