  • 8:00 - 8:45 a.m. – How to Leverage Your Self-Power from the Inside Out with Diane Wilhelm, chief engineer advanced manufacturing, Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Using her military career as an example of how to succeed in a male-dominated field, Diane will focus on leading from within.
  • 8:45 - 11:00 a.m. – Pitching It Up and Selling It Sideways workshop with Debra Zabloudil, president & CEO, The Learning Studio, Inc.  Whether communicating with a colleague, your boss or a customer, this session will help you know how to sell an idea, get buy-in and take the germ of an idea from conception to execution.

Seven Dance Steps to Advance Your Career

Caterpillar Inc., Vice President Tana Utley inspired a packed room of women -and men- at the Packaging & Processing Women’s Leadership Network breakfast at PACK EXPO Las Vegas (September 25 - 27, 2017) with her keynote Dancing on the Glass Ceiling. She shared her experience progressing from a working level engineer to vice president in charge of the Large Power Systems Division at Caterpillar, providing seven “dance steps” to help women make the most of the opportunities that exist in the manufacturing industry. Tana’s message is worthwhile for everyone in our industry.
