Jim Pittas
President and CEO, PMMI
Jim Pittas leads PMMI as president and CEO, guiding the association’s strategic vision and industry initiatives. Since joining PMMI in 2000 as director of expositions, responsible for the operations and management of PMMI’s number one asset – the PACK EXPO Shows, he has played a pivotal role in expanding the PACK EXPO portfolio, overseeing the launch and growth of multiple shows in the US and Mexico. He also serves on the PMMI Executive Committee and the Board of PMMI’s Education Foundation.
Jim is dedicated to supporting the industry's future through PMMI’s commitment to students and the future workforce. He has been instrumental in growing the PMMI Foundation, which funds scholarships and workforce development initiatives that help cultivate the next generation of packaging and processing professionals.
Jim is actively involved in MATSO, IAEE, NAM’s Council of Manufacturing Associations, and the Chicago Labor Council. A lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and four children.

David Newcorn
President, PMMI Media Group
David Newcorn brings over 30 years of experience in B2B media within the packaging and processing market to his role at PMMI Media Group. As president, he oversees strategy across advertising, marketing, sales, editorial, and product development, collaborating closely with association and trade show leaders. Throughout his career, David has launched several innovative digital media initiatives, brands, and platforms, demonstrating a commitment to advancing the industry.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Glen Long
Senior Vice President
As senior vice president, Glen Long plays a key role in advancing the organization’s mission to connect consumer goods companies with packaging and processing suppliers. He focuses on delivering valuable resources that keep members informed of industry developments and equip them with solutions to tackle evolving challenges.
Glen has dedicated his career to the packaging and processing industry. Before joining PMMI’s staff, he was deeply involved as part of several PMMI member companies and served as PMMI chairman and an Executive Committee member from 2004 to 2007. His firsthand experience as a member company leader gives him a unique perspective on the needs of the industry and the value PMMI provides.
Under Glen’s leadership, PMMI has seen significant membership growth, reinforcing its commitment to supporting its members in a constantly evolving marketplace. He is dedicated to providing the tools and insights needed to help companies stay competitive and navigate industry challenges effectively.

Craig Silverio
Vice President, Finance
Craig Silverio has dedicated his 34-yearcareer in association management to PMMI, overseeing its financial operations and strategic growth. As vice president, finance, he manages the financial operations of PMMI and its for-profit and not-for-profit subsidiaries, including six managed service association clients.
During his tenure, PMMI has expanded significantly, growing from $6 million in annual revenue to a consolidated $100 million. Career highlights include securing not-for-profit status for PMMI’s general contracting subsidiary, PACK EXPO Services, LLC, and guiding the association through the COVID-19 pandemic, including managing insurance recovery following the cancellation of PACK EXPO International and EXPO PACK México in 2020.
Craig is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and a former chair of the Finance and Administration Roundtable. A graduate of Robert Morris University, he resides in Ashburn, Virginia, with his three children.
A personal highlight of his career was hitting a hole-in-one on the $10,000 hole at an American Society of Association Executives golf tournament in 2006.

Tom Egan
Vice President, Industry Services
Tom Egan brings more than two decades of experience in packaging solutions to his work at PMMI, where he has been a key contributor since 2003. He plays an integral role in customer program facilitation, technical services, and industry collaboration. He also serves as a staff liaison to organizations such as the Cold Pressure Council and contributes to meeting content development.
Before PMMI, Tom spent over 20years in the packaging industry, holding leadership roles at Hoppmann Corporation and Eaton Corporation. He also previously served on PMMI’s Board of Directors and Show Committee, further shaping the association’s strategic initiatives.
With 22 years at PMMI, Tom remains dedicated to advancing industry services, fostering collaboration, and supporting technical innovation.

Andrew Dougherty
Vice President, Member Services
Andrew Dougherty is responsible for member engagement, recruiting new member companies, and promoting the association's three pillars: PMMI Business Drivers, PACK EXPO Trade Shows, and the PMMI Media Group. Working in the Trade Association world for more than two decades, Andrew’s strength is helping members leverage PMMI resources to grow their businesses.
He enjoys visiting member companies to promote PMMI’s products and services and encourage members to take advantage of their company’s PMMI Membership, which includes available resources like Business Intelligence, Workforce Development, Global Marketing, and Industry Services. Tracy Stout
Vice President, Marketing & Communications
Tracy Stout leads PMMI’s Marketing & Communications department, which is responsible for the promotion of PMMI programs and all communication to members and other industry audiences. Since joining PMMI in 2014, some of the initiatives Tracy has been involved with include the integration of PMMI’s Media Group, specifically the launch of OEM magazine, the OpX Leadership Network rebrand, and the creation and growth of the Packaging & Processing Women’s Leadership Network.
Under Tracy’s tenure, the Marketing & Communications department launched the association’s first podcast, UnPACKed with PMMI, began PMMI’s weekly Conveyor e-newsletter, established a graphic design team and video production capability, and kept pmmi.org up-to-date and reflective of PMMI member needs.
Tracy was born and raised in Northern Virginia and enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Jorge Izquierdo is a mechanical engineer from the National University in Mexico with an MBA from ITAM. He oversees PMMI’s market development, industry, and custom research programs, which aim to strengthen the competitiveness of North American suppliers of packaging and processing technologies. He is also responsible for industry engagement initiatives that promote continuous improvement of processing and packaging operations.

Joe Angel
Vice President, Industry Outreach
Joe Angel fosters relationships with education, PMMI members, affiliated organizations, and CPG companies. A founding partner of Summit Media Group, he launched Packaging World magazine in 1994. After Summit was acquired by PMMI in 2014, Joe led PMMI Media Group as president until October 2022 before transitioning to PMMI’s parent organization as executive vice president, industry outreach.
With nearly four decades of experience in packaging, Joe is a strong advocate for packaging education. He serves on the board of the Clemson University Department of Packaging Science, the Packaging Program Council at Michigan State University, and The Dean's Executive Council for Purdue University Northwest’s College of Technology. He is also active with PMMI’s Future Workforce Development Committee.
Joe is a member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals, SIIA’s Connectiv and Association Media & Publishing division, and ANA Business Marketing. He frequently participates in panels and discussions on packaging, processing, and B2B media and continues to contribute to industry thought leadership.
He resides in the Chicago area with his wife, Peggy.

Carlos Quintero
Director, Industry Services
Carlos Quintero leads PMMI’s Industry Services, spearheading initiatives that foster industry collaboration and knowledge sharing. He oversees the OpX Leadership Network and MaX Member Share Groups, which provide best practices and peer-to-peer engagement across critical business functions.
With over two decades of experience in sales leadership and industry services, Carlos has worked extensively with global manufacturers in track-and-trace, packaging, and processing technologies, providing strategic insights and solutions. A career highlight includes working closely for many years with an incredible group of subject matter experts and product specialists, continuously refining and enhancing the value proposition for customers and industry partners.
Carlos holds a degree in Sociology and Finance from Tulane University, bringing a unique blend of analytical and people-focused expertise to his role. Originally from Cali, Colombia, he has lived in the U.S. since 1995 and brings a global perspective, sharp business acumen, and a passion for fostering industry connections.
Outside of work, Carlos enjoys golf, running, and traveling with his wife, who is from Uruguay, and their two college-age children. He values time with family and exploring new cultures.

Krista DeBrosse
Director, Trade Show Operations
Krista DeBrosse has been with PMMI since 2014, leading the operations team in planning and executing PACK EXPO trade shows across the U.S. She manages everything from vendor relationships and show floor destinations to sponsorships, registration, and PACK gives BACK™. Krista is also actively involved in PMMI’s international trade shows, EXPO PACK Mexico and EXPO PACK Guadalajara, collaborating closely with PMMI’s Mexico office across marketing, sales, and operations.
With over a decade of experience in the exhibitions industry, Krista has helped produce trade shows for audiences exceeding 45,000 attendees and 1.3 million net square feet of exhibit space. Her career highlights include being recognized as one of Trade Show Executive’s Trailblazers of the Year and a recipient of IAEE’s 20 Under 30 award. She is involved in the trade show industry through affiliations with IAEE and currently sits on its Women’s Leadership Committee. Krista also serves as the staff liaison to PMMI’s Emerging Leaders Committee, a network of engaged young professionals in packaging and processing, which is dedicated to advancing the industry through its next generation of leaders via education and networking.
In her spare time, she enjoys being with family and friends, traveling, boating, and reading.

Stephan Girard
Senior Director, Workforce Development
Stephan Girard brings over 29 years of experience in workforce training and development experience to his role at PMMI. As Senior Director of Workforce Development, he oversees efforts to upskill the incumbent workforce and promote packaging and processing industry careers to high school and college students. He is also responsible for the PMMI Foundation, which provides scholarships and financial support for education programs in North America.
Stephan holds a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University.

Kate Fiorianti
Director, Workforce Development
Kate Fiorianti leads PMMI’s workforce development initiatives, bridging the gap between education and industry to foster the next generation of manufacturing professionals. She manages relationships with PMMI Education Partners, collaborates with the Future Workforce Committee to enhance student engagement and recruitment, and oversees the PMMI U Skills Fund program.
Kate also plays a key role in expanding the impact of the PMMI Foundation, supporting students, educators, and workforce development programs. Additionally, she leads the PACK Challenge, PMMI’s student STEM competition, which introduces high school teams to real-world packaging and manufacturing challenges, inspiring innovation and hands-on learning.
In her free time, she enjoys staying active and being with her two dogs.

Rebecca Marquez
Director, PMMI Media Group Custom Research
Rebecca Marquez, a PMMI Business Intelligence team member since 2016, is responsible for PMMI Media Group’s Custom Research initiative, an offering of proprietary research services for PMMI members and packaging industry professionals. In addition to her responsibilities in Custom Research, Rebecca oversees the design, execution, analysis, and production of PMMI’s Business Intelligence market research products for members, internal clients, and the industry.
With more than a decade of experience in market research, Rebecca has managed and executed research for publicly traded companies and has managed top-tier research vendors both domestically and globally.
Rebecca holds a degree in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, bringing a unique blend of analytical and people-focused expertise to her role. As an English Literature major, Rebecca developed a keen ability to analyze complex text, synthesize diverse perspectives, and recognize underlying themes — skills that seamlessly translate into the world of market research. Whether conducting in-depth end-user interviews, competitive benchmarking, or brand perception studies, Rebecca applies the same rigorous attention to detail and interpretive expertise used in literary analysis to decode end-user behavior.
When off the clock, Rebecca enjoys sleeping. But since you can’t do that all day, other hobbies include cooking, traveling, seeing movies at an actual theater, painting/drawing, and anything that will keep her relatively calm.
