CARLAREN was incorporated as a company in 1982 and its first activity was the representation of Lonray Inc (USA), a company dedicated to sugar trading and operator in the New York Coffee, Cocoa and Sugar market. Lonray belongs to the Berisford Group (Great Britain), a group of companies dedicated to commodities trading, including food and metals. In 1984 CARLAREN took its first representation in industrial equipment: Zanini SA Equipamentos Pesados (Brazil), specialized in producing integrated plants for sugar and alcohol.
From 1987 onwards, CARLAREN incorporates several equipment representations
