PMMI’s Industry Relations Committee asked its Field Service Managers share group to develop best practices regarding documents and requirements for field service personnel during the pandemic to address these efforts. Peter Seward from Harpak-Ulma is a member of the group and joins the UnPACKed with PMMI podcast to discuss the methodology behind the resulting white paper, Field Service Personnel and Customer Tools to Support Safe Practices during the COVID Pandemic.

Pete Seward is Vice President of Engineering & Technical Service at Harpak-ULMA, the North American Arm of ULMA which is a 65 year old, multi-billion dollar company headquartered in Spain. Seward is responsible for technical service, project management, innovation, engineering and technical training which represents ~50% of the company.

Previously, he worked for 22 years at Ocean Spray Cranberries in a variety of roles in manufacturing, R&D, engineering, project management and product commercialization and focusing on types of equipment such as – thermoforming, tray sealing & forming, flow/stretch/vertical wrapping, complete automation, end to end, from product to palletization.
