University of Hawaii, Leeward Community College

Leeward Community College is a two-year community college that is part of the University of Hawaii community college system. Our main campus is located in pearl City, HI, with an extensions campus is Waianae, HI. Leeward CC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western association of Schools and Colleges, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council of Higher Education and the U.S. Department of Education.

The college offers over 60 degrees and certificates in the 18 programs of study, offering students diverse and comprehensive opportunities in Natural Science, Career and Technical Education and Liberal Arts.

The Integrated Industrial Technology Program provides students with a theoretical and practical understanding of mechatronic systems as well as develops practical troubleshooting skills. The coursework provides cross training in the areas of electronic/electrical, mechanical, and automated control systems. Graduates will be able to install, program, operate, maintain, calibrate and repair the equipment that makes up these systems. The degree prepares students for occupations that involved the integration of electronic, electrical, mechanical and communication systems.
