2025 Adquisición, Intercambio y Utilización de Datos, published by PMMI – The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies in September 2025, examines data practices in Mexican packaging and processing operations using inputs from Expo Pack Guadalajara forums, participant surveys and case examples collected in 2024–2025. The analysis indicates three focus areas—data governance and flow, such as availability and internal traceability; workforce capability and knowledge capture, including training and operator performance metrics; and technology integration, from automation and retrofitting to predictive maintenance with cybersecurity considerations—where patterns tend to affect productivity and investment priorities, and charts highlight comparative benchmarks and practical implementation challenges. The report reveals where engineering teams are prioritizing investments to strengthen operational resilience.
