The College of Lake County is a comprehensive Community College serving approximately 15,000 students.  The college offers a wide range of academic program choices in the areas of transfer programs, career programs, GED and adult basic education, non-credit and career development, and training for businesses.  The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association.  CLC is in the process of putting an Associates degree in Mechatronics in place by fall of 2017.
