For over 60 years, Manatee Technical College has proudly served students by offering outstanding educational experiences leading to successful careers, while providing a skilled workforce for business and industry in Manatee County and the surrounding areas. To meet the demand for training, MTC has expanded its offerings to include over 50 career prep programs, the largest selection of programs offered in the state of Florida and include programs in the following career clusters: Architecture & Construction; Arts, A/V Technology & Communication; Business Management & Administration; Education & Training; Health Science; Hospitality & Tourism; Information Technology; Law, Public Safety, & Security; Manufacturing; and Transportation, Distribution & Logistics.

Manufacturing specific programs at MTC include Advanced Manufacturing, CNC Production Specialist, Computer Aided Drawing and Modeling, Electrical & Instrumentation, Electrician,

Machining Technologies, and Welding Technology. Most programs can be completed in a year or less and each focus on specialized training, industry certifications, licensures, and providing business and industry with a skilled, professional workforce.

MTC also offers Registered Apprenticeships, GED classes, English to speakers of other languages (ESOL), as well as continuing education programs for individuals or groups who want to enhance their current skills.
