San Jose State University

SJSU is a branch of the California State University system offering Packaging as an academic discipline.

We offer BS and MS degrees in Packaging, including participation in the SAGE 4+1 program, which stands for Spartan Accelerated Graduate Education.

This program allows qualified undergraduate students to begin taking graduate-level coursework during their senior year and complete both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in an accelerated timeframe.

Our focus is to train working packaging professionals for careers in industry, so our learned skill sets are oriented toward packaging project management. We require an internship as part of the academic training so our graduates gain hands-on experience before they begin working.
