2025 Beverage Industry Packaging Trends, published by PMMI – The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, examines domestic beverage packaging dynamics using qualitative interviews and a quantitative online survey conducted in late 2024 through early 2025 and benchmarks short-term industry outlooks. Analysis indicates focus areas include investment and infrastructure renewal—covering equipment replacement and purchases from filling and conveying to palletizing—sustainability and shifts in packaging materials, supplier relationships and after-sale service, workforce retention and digital-tool adoption, and sanitation and regulatory readiness. Emerging patterns show companies tend to prioritize cost, speed, and flexibility, while charts highlight gaps in supplier support and preparedness for talent and sustainability challenges. The report reveals where engineering teams are prioritizing investments to strengthen operational resilience.
