IIoT Monitoring Quickie Survey Results, published by PMMI – The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, examines trends in industrial IoT adoption across PMMI member companies using an August 2020 survey and qualitative vendor feedback. The analysis indicates shifts in maintenance strategy and predictive-analytics adoption, grouped into focus areas: maintenance strategy and predictive analytics (from corrective to condition-based approaches), deployment and supplier roles (start-small implementations and embedded component data), and monitoring priorities and data use (machine performance, failure detection, productivity).
