PMMI Top to Top Summit Report 2017, published by PMMI – The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, examines production operations challenges and CPG–OEM collaboration using breakout-session findings from the April 23–25, 2017 summit, participant workshop notes and OpX Leadership Network work products. The analysis indicates evolving pressures from e-commerce and SKU proliferation, organized into focus areas such as channel-driven packaging and distribution, workforce development and knowledge capture, and innovation adoption including automation, IIoT and remote access, with benchmarks and cross-company comparisons providing context.
